Description
This piece is done in an older style and uses materials that I no longer plan to keep in stock. Please confirm the price with me before commissioning.
I was commissioned to make a fancier version of Transient Thorn. I designed the new version so that the center of the sapphire would be unobstructed, and made the symbolism from the original piece more subtle.
Creating the pendant was a fun experience, and the commissioner really loved it

Time taken: 7 hours. Not including the photography.
This photo is unaltered, save for the addition of the watermark, and was taken under natural lighting conditions. Materials: 19.55 Carat Pink-Orange Padparadscha Sapphire (VVS-1), Enamel Coated Copper Wire (20, 24, and 26 gauge) Critiques on the photography and presentation are welcomed. Some of my backgrounds are starting to wear out, and I'm trying to figure out which colors/patterns (other than wood) would work best given my style and materials.
