I was commissioned to craft a bearded dragon bracelet for my client's daughter, modeled after her pet. As I'd never seen a bearded dragon before, I consulted a lot of reference photos, trying to strike a balance between matching the proportions and staying within the specified measurements. This was one of the most fun and challenging commissions I've done so far - and it's made me fall in love with peach wire !
Here's a standalone photo of the bracelet:

This is my entry to projecteducate's All Mediums Contest: Opposites! This piece is the opposite to Light of the Moon, whose meaning I've described in the deviation's description. Below, I've described why the two pieces are opposites.
One depicts a mythological creature, the other a real animal. I didn't use any references for the dragon, and consulted tons of reference photos for the bearded dragon.
One is a large and relatively un-adjustable gemstone pendant, the other is an adjustable, gemstone-less bracelet that comfortably fits a range of wrist sizes.
The dragon is depicted from side view and can be worn with the head facing either the left or right - it can be 'inverted'. The bearded dragon is depicted from top view, and can be worn with either the head or tail facing the wrist. Due to the positions of the crackle glass beads, the bearded dragon can't be comfortably 'inverted'.

One uses cool colors and represents tranquility and being a guiding light to others. The other uses warm colors and is intended to convey love and passion towards a specific being.
The materials for one are relatively fragile (Swarovski crystals break under excessive force, and the moon is made out of glass) and complement the dragon's delicate appearance, whereas the other's crackle glass beads are durable, representing the hardiness of the bearded dragon.
The dragon's frame consists of a single wire, giving it a more delicate appearance, while the bearded dragon has a double wire frame, giving it a bulkier appearance.
I crafted the dragon starting from the head, and the bearded dragon starting from the tail. Hence, the base wires end at the dragon's tail, and at the bearded dragon's head.
I made the wire endings for the dragon very obvious, while making them very subtle for the bearded dragon.
I photographed the dragon with an inorganic object, the velvet cord, and the bearded dragon with something organic, a person's hand.
I chose the same background for both, but did not use light reflectors for the bearded dragon. As a result, the shadows in the dragon photo are fittingly lighter, while the shadows in the bearded dragon photo are heavier.

Sixteen hours.
Or, about as long as I have currently spent hand-stitching a simple chaperone.
You're fast o.O
